When the veil thins and the kettle sings, Fae Cottage lights a candle and lets the stories in.

Fae Cottage is a small, story-led brand created by Willow Brooks—author and lifelong folklore enthusiast. What began on the page (and in her notebooks of seasonal lore) has grown into a cottage-world of scent, décor, and playful curios that make ordinary rooms feel a little enchanted.

Willow lives in a cosy cottage with her two goats, Moo and Meow, and her cat, Trixy—cameo stars you will recognise in her book that will be released very soon. Her semi-permanent visiting sister, Autumn, lends a loving hand—helping with packing days, photography, and general cosy mischief. Together, they keep the kettle on, the candles lit, and the cottage brimming with dark & whimsical cheer.

Out in the garden, Autumn helps tend the herbs and blooms we’re trialling for the Fae Cottage apothecary—snipping lavender, hanging mint to dry, and bringing in baskets of marigold and rosemary to the kitchen bench. Those quiet harvests become gentle, story-led test blends for our candles and home fragrance—crafted for mood and atmosphere and aid—not medical claims.

We live for moonlit, pumpkin-bright evenings; for groovy ghosts, gothic flourishes, and the soft rituals of home—brewing tea, lighting a tealight, and choosing a comforting scent. Our aesthetic is dark & whimsical with a wink: somewhere between cottagecore and friendly haunt.
