This steam-distilled 10 ml bottle is a cottage favourite for creating a comforting, clarifying ambience, perfect for wintry diffuser blends, snug room sprays, and gently warming massage oils (always well-diluted). In aromatherapy, it’s cherished for its uplifting, grounding, and clear-breathing vibes.

How to use

Diffuser: 2–4 drops per 200 ml water (or per device directions).

Oil burner: Always dilute—fill dish with water first, then add 1–3 drops.

Room spray: 5–12 drops in 100 ml distilled water + 1 tsp solubiliser; shake before each use.

Topical (in carrier oil): Face 0.25–0.5% (1 drop per 10 ml). Body 0.5–1% (1–3 drops per 10 ml).

Lovely with: sweet orange, mandarin, cardamom, cinnamon leaf (low dose), clove leaf (low), cedarwood, fir needle, benzoin/vanilla, peppermint.

Safety

For external use only. Do not use neat on the skin. Always dilute and patch test. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes. Keep away from children and pets. If pregnant, nursing, under medical care, or with oestrogen-sensitive conditions, seek professional advice before use (star anise is anethole-rich). Discontinue if irritation occurs.
