This is a nature-identical aromatic blend crafted to echo the scent profile and general aromatherapy character of true Melissa (Melissa officinalis), which is famously rare and costly. Built from fractionated essential oil components—citral (from lemongrass), lemon oil, d-limonene (from orange), ho wood oil, and β-caryophyllene (from clove)—it opens bright, lemony-sweet with a soft herb note and gentle woody calm. Lovely for mood-lifting diffusers, fresh room mists, and serene evening blends (always well-diluted).

How to use

Diffuser: 2–5 drops per 200 ml water (or per device directions).

Oil burner: Always dilute—fill the dish with water first, then add 1–3 drops of the essential oil.

Room spray: 6–12 drops in 100 ml distilled water + 1 tsp solubiliser; shake before each use.

Topical (in carrier oil): Face 0.2–0.4% (about 1 drop per 12–20 ml). Body leave-on 0.5–1% (about 2–3 drops per 10 ml).

Lovely with: lavender, bergamot (FCF), geranium, neroli, cedarwood, frankincense, and lemon tea tree.

Safety

For external use only. Do not use neat on the skin. Always dilute and patch test. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes. Keep away from children and pets; do not apply to the face of infants/young children. Discontinue if irritation occurs.

Phototoxic caution: Blend may contain cold-pressed citrus components. If used on skin, keep leave-on blends low and avoid UV/sun for 12–24 hours after application.
