Cold-pressed from ripe macadamia nuts in Australia, this clear oil (with a soft yellow tint) is more aromatic than many nut oils—sweet, nutty and warm. With its thicker, occlusive feel, it lends cushion and gloss to facial, body and massage blends. Beautiful on dry patches and in richer creams; blend with lighter carriers for faster set. (Common in sun-care formulations, but not a sunscreen on its own.)

How to use

Facial oils/serums: 1–5% in a lighter base (jojoba, apricot, grapeseed) due to richness.

Body & massage: 10–50% for velvet glide; cut with almond or fractionated coconut if you prefer a drier finish.

Dry spots & hands: smooth a few drops neat over elbows, knees, cuticles.

Balms/salves/creams: 5–15% to add plush occlusion and sheen.

Add a touch of vitamin E or wheatgerm to help slow oxidation in DIY blends.
