This clear amber-gold vitamin E (tocopherol) is a classic antioxidant booster for oil-based craft. Used in tiny amounts, it helps slow oxidation and support freshness in carrier oils, butters and balms—perfect for finishing touches in face, body and hair blends.

How to use

Antioxidant for oils/balms: 0.1–1% total formula (start low; check supplier potency).

Body & massage oils: 0.2–0.5% in the cool-down (≤40 °C).

Butters/salves: 0.2–1%; stir in after melting.

Optional: pair with rosemary CO₂ extract (0.02–0.1%) for a complementary antioxidant system.

Note: Vitamin E slows rancidity in oil-only products; it is not a preservative for water phases.
